Product codes ending in "-2" are Blemished. They are New and Unused with Superficial blemishes that may include: blisters in the finish, scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, rust or pitting on metals, imperfect glazes, non-structural repairs such as putty in nail holes, or other surface marks. The irregularity does not affect the playability or sound quality of the instrument. These are a great value!

Product codes ending in "-3" are Repaired. They are New and Unused with visible manufacturer's repairs. The majority of repairs involve application of wood putty to amend irregularities in the wood or joints. There may also be cracks that have been repaired. Any structural repairs are complete and will be as strong, or stronger, than the original part. There may also be other superficial blemishes. The repair does not affect the playability or sound quality of the instrument. These are also a great value!

Product codes ending in "-4" denotes Repairs Required. They are New and Unused but have sustained damage in shipping. Heads on drums may have split; we supply the heads. Gourds on sitars may have cracked and require repair. Harp Soundboards may have cracked; we supply the replacements and instructions. Harp Arms may have cracked; we supply the instructions. If you are handy, these can be made playable, or they can serve as decor items. These are the best deal!
