The Donkey Call is also known as a Vibraslap or Rattle Clap. It is meant to emulate the original sounds made by rattling the loose teeth in a dried out horse or zebra jawbone.
In this version, small metal pins rattle between the sides of the metal chamber when the ball end is slapped, creating a high pitched rolling rattle.
A highly unusual rattling sound is a great novelty and very popular among professional percussionists. Great for background "ambient" percussive sounds in any style of music.
Approximate overall dimensions: 11 x 6 inches.
